About Us

Speed Films is a collaboration between Johnny Johnson and Allison Marshall. We aim to create commercially viable genre films which serve to engage and entertain.

Currently we operate exclusively in the horror and thriller markets.

Johnny Johnson (Producer/Director)

Johnny graduated from Westminster Film school and immediately went on to freelance as a camera assistant in TV drama, feature films and TV commercials. He formed Camera Speed, a digital cinema camera rental company, serving predominantly commercial production companies and advertising agencies.

After selling this business, Johnny managed a number of Stereo 3D productions before establishing Speed Films with the intention of producing feature films. Throughout his career, he has produced or directed short films and recently completed production on his first feature "Asylum."

Rodolfo Coloma (Line Producer)

Rodolfo is the line producer for all Speed Films productions. He has managed an array of productions over many years, ranging in budget from micro-budget through to £multi-million feature films.

James Milner-Smyth (Executive Producer)

James owns and manages the Post Factory Group which provides a full production service from front to back. Branches of the company include Gear Factory which hires digital cinema camera equipment including Red Epics and cine-prime lenses. The post arm is able to colour grade at 2K resolution and mix audio in surround.
